According to The Verge, Microsoft has finally made a bittersweet decision as to the branding of it's mobile phones...Microsoft Lumia.
As part of our phased transition, we will drop the manufacturer name from product references during the Holiday campaign. Lumia is a trademark owned by Microsoft Mobile Oy.
May be sweet for some Nokia fans, as the Lumia is retained, although many may not like the Microsoft before the Lumia, coupling both as a brand name as the name Microsoft is not toally liked by the majority of mobile phone users.
