The 27-year-old national team goalkeeper was gunned down after an altercation with burglars who broke into the house of his pop star and ;actress girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo last Sunday.
Police launched a manhunt and earlier on today released the sketches that were recreated from eyewitness descriptions.
A reward of 250,000 rand ($23,000) has also been offered for any information leading to the arrest of Meyiwa's killer.
Local media reports that Meyiwa's family have also hired private investigators to conduct a parallel probe of the death.
