In a statement released by Mr ibu's campaign manager, Chijioke Asaro, he said "Mr Ibu is ready to fight against corruption in our country. As you can see Nigeria is 54 years old today and she's still crawling talkless of feeding herself "akamu", and the reason why she can't walk is because her leaders are embezzling her feeding money and using it to destabilize the country"
He also said " He is ready to challenge his fellow political aspirants to a public debate, and he will travel to Aso Rock on Monday to deliver his letter. However, he urged fellow Nigerians to vote for him so as to make this Naija a better country. And he promise to kick out Boko Haram from Nigeria and send them back to Cameroon or drop them in Ikeja Under Bridge"
