A mix of pop culture, Indie sensibilities, and inspired by the British rock band –Bastille! Nigerian fashion label Fruché presents its Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
The collection, titled “Bastille“, was inspired by the Creative Director – Frank Aghuno‘s interest in the rock band’s style of music. From the way they remixed covers of pop songs to their ethereal vibe; he wanted to create a collection that mirrored their brilliance.
With paintings by his twin brother – Fred Aghuno who is a artist and painted all 3 backdrops, the collection materializes colour, prints and patterns. “Bastille” has pieces in organza, chiffon, silk-cotton and satin with Spring colours like peach, mustard, champagne, white, blue and black. We love the cut-outs, thigh-high slits, asymmetrical and structured sleeves.
