Misdemeanor is back at it. Jumping off her A$AP Ferg collab “Strive,” Missy Elliott recently teamed up with Bruno Mars in the lab.
The hip-hop icon shared a photo of her and her Atlantic labelmate in the studio. “Big up to @brunomars I had a blast with him in the studio vibing!#magic,” wrote Missy. “He such a rare gem & such a humble spirit! I am so humbled & grateful Bruno.”
Not only did they share laughs, but she also got to hear new music from Mars’ upcoming album. “We laughed & laughed the whole night then he played me some ass songs 4 his album Whewwww #INCREDIBLE!” she added. “It’s so inspiring to vibe with ppl who can create real music & have a creative mind! In addition to Bruno, Missy has been in the studio with Pharrell working on her first album since 2005’s The Cookbook.
