Africa’s largest hotel booking website, Jovago.com makes landmark contributions as TEDx Ikeja hosts its first conference on the 3rd of October in Lagos by 10am.
Jovago will sponsor the 2015 edition of TEDx Ikeja as part of its vision to support the development of an idea-driven society by stimulating dialogue through integrated community platforms. The programme will bring together disruptive thinkers across the nation’s socio-economic ecosystem in a bid to actively coach and integrate creative thought processes among Nigeria’s burgeoning youth population.
With the private sector increasing its contributions to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), stakeholders are set on equipping the next generation with skills required to take advantage of the opportunities that arise. TEDx events are non-profit conferences devoted to promoting ideas focused on developing, empowering as well as providing great networking opportunities for participants thus triggering actions within enterprises and communities.
Speakers expected are Mo Abudu, founder of Ebony Life TV; Dr. Joe Odumakin, civil rights activist and recipient of the Woman of Courage award by the US government and many others. Attendance is free but subject to registration.
