Blatter is finally caught on the ropes. The FIFA president has somehow managed to escape indictment so far as a corruption saga dragged FIFA’s and football governance’s name through the mud.
The escape is however over as the office of the attorney general in Switzerland yesterday began a criminal investigation into the Swiss football administrator. This news forced FIFA to cancel a press conference in which the president of the body was going to speak. The Swiss OAG’s office released a statement about the investigation.
If Blatter is found to be corrupt, he would be indicted and faces heavy fines and possible jail time
