Drake may very well be on his way to fulfilling industry analyst predictions of moving nearly 2 million units (SPS) in the first week of his wildly anticipated new album, ‘Views.’
Delivered on April 29th to hungry fans, the set – according to reports – has already managed to sell 630,000 copies…in just one day. Set to end, as expected, the short reign of Queen Bey’s newest album, ‘Lemonade,’ on next week’s refreshed Billlboard 200, Drizzy’s release managed to move more in one day than what Bey’s did in one week.
Yet, while the ousting was undoubtedly expected, some fans of the diva are calling foul play on behalf of Apple Music (who has exclusive rights to ‘Views’ for its first 7 days of availability). Could they be on to something?
Some people are alleging their Beyonce purchases are not being recognized on the outlet while Drake’s, an Apple Music exclusive, are.
