AKA wins Best Hit Single & Best Collaboration at the 15th Annual Metro FM Music Awards

The #3RDWRLDBOSS, AKA, won two Metro FM Music Awards (MMA15) last night at the ICC in Durban, for his hit single Baddest, in the categories Best Hit Single & Best Collaboration.

“Winning 2 Metro FM 15 awards by actually putting out 1 radio single "Baddest" in 2015 says a lot about the caliber of artist that AKA is. Creating a historic remix by featuring 4 of Africa's best female rappers was a stroke of genius. We remain impressed by AKA's creativity and drive. He is truly the King of Urban music in Africa and a legend in the making” shares Benza, Vth Season Managing Director and co-founder.

"Thank You to the fans, their support over the years is truly humbling. Thank you to Metro FM for putting me on this platform year after year. This is my 7th Metro and every year it gets harder. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you the people of KZN for such a great celebration of South African music" expresses AKA.

AKA’s performance at the MMA15 of the Baddest Remix with Yanga and femcees Moozlie, Rouge, Gigi Lamayne and Fifi Cooper made #BaddestTeam & #BaddestShow a trending topic in South Africa and was deemed by both fans and industry members as the best performance of the night.
