Nigeria Ranks 5th In World And 1st In Africa In New Abduction Ranking

The ranking is released by Control Risk, a UK-headquartered consultancy organisation that  specialises in political, security and integrity risk. Operating from 36 offices, the company's primary services include anti-corruption audits, consultancy and training, eDiscovery, political risk analysis and a broad range of security and crisis management support.

In this abduction report, Mexico ranks the highest in the world, while India comes second. For countries surrounding India, like Afghanistan and Pakistan, the risk is not lessened. It only means that kidnapping complaints are higher in India.

Let it be noted that earlier this year, Nigeria ranked as the second most dangerous country to live in, after Iraq.
