OAP and Idols SA judge, Unathi Msengana has been temporarily suspended from Metro FM.
Apparently Unathi was not suspended for her on air comments and or questions but for the tweets she sent out to her listeners after the show about the alleged racism at Stellenbosch University in the Western Cape
Shortly after the comments went viral on the Twitterverse, Unathi verbally attacked out, calling her a “psycho b**ch.”
SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago confirmed Unathi’s suspension to Destiny Magazine that it had been decided to take Unathi off air until the matter was investigated.
“We decided to put her off until we finish engaging about the issue. We have no control over DJs and what they do in their private space. But our DJs should know that they are representatives of the brand,” he explaineD.
There’s no confirmation when Unathi will be back on the airwaves, she could be back at work tomorrow ‘any other day.’
