IGBOS COMPLAIN ABOUT BUHARI’S DISCRIMINATION, ACCUSE OSHIOMHOLE

An Igbo intelligentsia group, Aka Ikenga, through its President Chief Goddy Uwazurike, has accused Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari of discriminating against the Igbo and other parts; citing recent appointments as examples of discrimination as no South-Easterner has been deemed fit.
Chief Uwazurike told The Sun that the President intentionally overlooked some parts for consideration because he was reported to have said that ‘those who gave me 98 per cent votes would get more appointments than those who gave me two per cent votes.’ Therefore, he has urged the President to have a change of mind and be the President of Nigeria and not the President of certain geo-political zones.
“It is not good for us to see this man as their president and not our president,” he said.
The Igbo leader also pointed accusing fingers at Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole on what he perceived as a vendetta against ex-Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. He maintained that most of his accusations about financial mismanagement hold no water and should be discarded
