Nollywood film maker Kunle Afolayan says his latest film 'October 1′ has bagged a distribution deal with Netflix, reports Nigerian ENtertainment Today(NET)
The director who just received the Nollywood Man of the Year award at The Sun Awards last weekend, said the deal is just the beginning of even bigger and better things this year.
According to him Netflix covers the whole of Europe and America.
It is a distribution deal as Netflix is an SVOD platform, an online platform that can be watched on the television.
Neflix is one of the most recognized SVOD platforms around the world.
He received 13 nominations, the highest in this year's edition of Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA).
