Aston Villa midfielder, Tom Cleverley has revealed that he does not want to return to Manchester United following the negativity he suffered during the torrid season at Old Trafford.
Cleverley was the butt of jokes at Old Trafford during David Moyes time at Manchester United as he endured a torrid period owing to lack of form. Cleverley was a victim of memes, vines and all worth not. The midfielder made a deadline day move to Aston Villa on loan and he has revealed he is happy to make a fresh start at Villa Park. I am happy to get away from some of the negativity that surrounded me at Manchester United, if any footballer gets a bit of stick off their own fans they are going to be hurt, but it has made me strong as a character". Cleverley stated in an interview.
Cleverley and Aston Villa look to challenge for a top half finish in the premier league this season.
