Oprah Winfrey Raises $600K For Charity

Billionaire woman/celebrity talk show host Oprah Winfrey raised $600K for charity by auctioning some of her personal belongings on November 3rd.

The auction was arranged by Kaminski Auctions at the Santa Barbara Polo club in the US. The items on sale came from Oprah's homes in Hawaii, Indiana and Illinois and the money raised will go to Winfrey's leadership academy for girls in South Africa.

Oprah expressed her joy after the sale as she said she feels like living a simple life. Free from so many things and so many unused items.
