373-Year Old Book Of Psalms Sells For £9 Million

This yellowing book of psalms which dates back to 1640 has sold-out for a record £9million.
The Bay Psalm Book believed to be one among the primary titles written within the United States of America was one among 2 in the hands of Boston's Old South Church, that voted to sell it to get funds.

'This is big for us,' said the Rev metropolis Taylor, senior minister of the church. 'It is life-changing for the ministries we can do.' John Hames Audubon's Birds Of America held the previous record for a printed book when it sold for about £7million in 2010. The book was bought over the phone by United States businessman and phiulanthropist David Rubenstein, who plans to lend it to libraries across the US.
