South African menswear designer, Lukhango Mdingi releases its S/S 16 lookbook featuring Nigerian model Toyin Oyeneye & South African model Gandhi Mukiza.

For the Spring/Summer 2016, the palette is deep blues which extends even to the treatment of the models’ skin. Taintless offers clean lines and loose structures in shirts, jackets and wide leg trousers.

“Taintless is based on Oriental aesthetics and uses this as a source to blur the lines between his and her fashion,” he told Elle before his SAMW showcase. “Instead of keeping pieces to just one distinct gender, the aim was to create a collection that is for all individuals. It’s all about keeping it clean, neat and timeless, along with introducing a contemporary flair of elegance and sophistication.”
