Juventus are confident of landing Chelsea and Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea after Guiseppe Marotta confirmed. Cuadrado joined Chelsea from Fiorentina this January and won two domestic titles but has failed to replicate his World Cup form. The signing of Pedro by Chelsea has further pushed the Colombian down the pecking order and will look to leave in order to get regular playing time.
Marotta said: “There is the opportunity to sign Cuadrado and we’re going for it,” he told Mediaset Premium. “Hopefully tomorrow we’ll close the deal, he should arrive on loan for one season.”
Cuadrado made just four Premier League starts under Mourinho as Chelsea clinched the title last season.
