Her brief reign might be over, but Myanmar's first ever beauty queen has refused to give back her $100,000 (£60,300) crown after being dethroned. May Myat Noe was only crowned Miss Asia Pacific 2014 three months ago, but was stripped of her title last week after being labelled a liar and a thief by South Korean pageant organisers.
In an emotional press conference, Ms May denied been a liar and a thief. She told reporters she was forced to lie about her age and the organisers had demanded that she have a head-to-toe plastic surgery.
They however dethroned her last week after also having problems with her mom over how the beauty queen will be managed.
Ms May who has left the country denied running off with the crown which she has refused to give the organisers back, but claimed she was already in the plane when she heard she was dethroned. She also says, she's ready to give back the $100,000 crown, but the organisers of the pageant must apologise for calling her a liar and a thief.
The organisers are now trying to get the police involved so they could retrieve the crown.
