Chris Brown Talks About Squashing Beef With Drake: ‘I’m Tired Of Being Looked At As The Aggressor’

What exactly happened the night that Chris Brown and Drake decided to squash their beef?
While we patiently wait on whatever material was created on that fateful night after the two dapped and made up,  Chris is dishing the tea on how they were able to settle their differences during an interview with Sway.
During the sit-down chat to promote his new album X this week, Breezy rocked a Pharrell-sized hat as he explained how the ESPYs Drake vs. Blake skit came together, as well as if there would be a collaboration featuring the two in the near future. When Sway asked if Rihanna was discussed during their time of reconciliation, Chris replied, "It's already understood. Nothing to be explained." Overall, it looks as though he was just ready to move on from all of the negativity surrounding the beef.
Peep a few of the highlights:
On working together for the ESPYs
I think it was [Drake's] camp and him actually that called and asked me, especially getting out of jail and going through whatever I was going through, I didn't have any animosity against anybody. I was just focused on me and what I was doing, so I felt it was a great opportunity. Especially since the ESPYs is such a prestigious awards show, I just wanted to bring light to the situation and grow up.
I'm 25 and I'm not getting no younger. I'm still young, but you can't walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. I'm tired of being looked at as the aggressor, so I just wanted to show my maturity."
On if there is a collaboration in the works
If my album wasn't finished already, it probably would have happened. But I think we were just going creatively off of what we want to do. So, I know he's working on some stuff and me and Tyga are working on this project. So just working on music is something that we're going to continuously try to do and make happen. I know it would be a big thing for the fans to hear a song, but it's gotta be the right song for both of us.
On the differences in their working styles
When were in the studio, he was like, 'I kind of need to have my studio like this.' He was like, 'Usually I'm in there with my producer, and I'm in there by myself.' And see my vibe is a little different. When I'm in there, I like to have a party. It's like the club in mine – 15, 20 girls, couple of my homies, couple drinks, everybody having fun. And I just get the vibe off the energy from them. Unless I'm trying to write a really serious, sad song and go to that place by myself, that's cool. But mostly for the uptempos, the party, the vibe, you have to live in the element of what you're writing about.
