Tv Series VH1 ‘Single Ladies’ Gets Cancelled

VH1 you guys didn't just do this, please say its a lie o?

All Single Ladies fans who were hoping for a few more seasons, get your petitions ready because the show has been cancelled. The single ladies casts were just about to wrap up the third season, but Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment won't be renewing the hour-long show starring Charity Shea, Denise Vasi and LisaRaye McCoy and newcomer LeToya Luckett.

VH1 released an official statement about the series getting the axe, hinting that they may be working with the Queen's company on something else real soon.;

"We've been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies. Although we've decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show's fans for their support since the premiere in 2011."

The first season had rumors of all sorts of behind-the-scenes drama with Stacey Dash, who ended up leaving show, being replaced by Denise in Season 2. Even with all the drama and surprise twists this season, they were only pulling in 2.2 million total viewers which is the same as last season.

This announcement comes just days after VH1 picked up a new scripted drama called "Hindsight," and will also produce Nick Cannon's sequel to Drumline.
