During an appearance on the Australian talk show Sunrise on Tuesday, March 4, Perry explained how the smooch went down. ***"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away," Perry, 29, said. She added (seemingly jokingly): "God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"***
Though Cyrus is famous for sticking her tongue out all the time, the 21-year-old singer apparently wasn't amused.
After Katy Perry suggested Miley Cyrus' tongue was dirty, The "We Can't Stop" singer slammed the "Part of Me" singer in a Twitter message Thursday. ***"Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT been,"*** she tweeted.
Cyrus also included images of Perry from her Sunrise interview with captions of the quotes she said about Cyrus' tongue.
The "We Can't Stop" singer didn't specify which of Perry's famous exes she was referring to, however. Perry recently ended her romance with singer John Mayer, and divorced Russell Brand in 2012. Mayer's famous ex-girlfriends include Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, and Taylor Swift. As for Brand, Perry once described him in Esquire as a former "professional prostitute.
