Inter Milan Might Be Interested In Mikel Obi

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel could well be on the move after the World Cup, with Inter Milan reportedly keen to bring the Super Eagles star to Serie A.

According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, new Inter owner Erick Thorhir is keen to to bring Mikel to the San Siro.

With the arrival of Nemanja Matic from Benfica, Mikel's first-team opportunities are becoming less frequent at Chelsea.

Mikel, who has been at Stamford Bridge since 2006, is valued at around €15m, with a contract valid until 2017, but Inter could attempt to persuade Jose Mourinho to part with the player on loan, or potentially in a player-swap deal.
