Popular 'Good Morning America' Anchor Robin Roberts Comes Out As Gay

The Good Morning America anchor didn't specifically refer to herself as a lesbian. Instead she used a message through her Facebook page to her fans to celebrate the first anniversary of her bone marrow transplant and to thank all those who supported her.

"I am grateful for my entire family, my long time girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together."

Her girlfriend is Amber Laign, a licensed massage therapist. She and Roberts have been together for at least a decade.
