Dangote Ranks 68th Most Powerful Person In The World, 2nd In Africa, According To Forbes

It was not too long ago 57 year old Aliko Dangote, Chief Executive and President of Dangote Industries, was crowned the richest man in Africa by Forbes.

Now the same internationally renowned Forbes magazine has ranked him 68th in the 72 most powerful persons in the world. He came after Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi who was ranked 51st on the list and Africa's most powerful man, leaving Dangote to 2nd position in Africa.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin is ranked number 1 on the list, followed by President Barack Obama, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Pope Francis and Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, who were tagged second to fifth respectively.
