Chimamanda Adiche’s Novel “Americanah” Has Been Listed As No 1 In The New York Times Top 10 Best Books Of 2013

The New York times recently released its list (Top 10 best books of 2013)hat is selected by editors of the publication, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche's Novel "Americanah" was the number 1, topping its list.

New York Times wrote "By turns tender and trenchant, Adiche's third Novel takes on the comedy and tragedy of American race relations from the perspective of a young nigerian immigrant. From the office politics of a hair braiding salon to the burden of memory, there's nothing to humble or daunting for this fearless writer who is so atunned to the various worlds and shifting selves we inhabit__in life and online in love as agents and victims of history and heroes of our own stories"

Adiche is also featured in beyonce's new self-titled album that she dropped midnight on iTunes and it has sold over a million copies in its first week of release.
