An emotional Michele was on stage to accept the award for Choice TV Actress in a Comedy, and she dedicated the honor to Monteith, who was a previous winner at the TCAs and hosted the event in 2010.
"I promise with your love, we're going to get through this together," she told fans. "He was very special to me, and also to the world."
She added, "Whether you knew him personally or just as Finn Hudson, Cory reached out, and he became a part of all of our hearts, and that's where he'll stay forever."
Michele's "Glee" co-stars also paid tribute to Monteith when they accepted awards.
