This is a collection released by Emerging pret-a-porter label Retro Religion for its Retroholic series for Spring/Summer 2016. The series was inspired by their penchant for a glorified era of the arts.
According to its creative director Folakemi Awobotu, “Nostalgia was constructed around the essence of engineering functional grab-and-go garments that was both affordable and stylish at the same time through simple silhouettes”
The pieces are attractive, simple but interesting and possess a very commercial prowess.
