Kim Basinger Joins ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ as Christian Grey’s Ex-Lover

The upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey sequel film has just cast its own version of Mrs. Robinson—and they completely nailed the casting decision. I hope this does better than the first one.

Variety reports that Kim Basinger is set to play Elena Lincoln, a Mrs. Robinson-inspired character who is Christian Grey’s business partner and former lover.

This won’t be Basinger’s first time playing the sexy femme fatale, the model/actress is a former Bond girl and also played the ultimate vixen in the 1997 film LA Confidential.
