Liverpool were active in the last transfer window, signing lots of players and they didn’t have much to show for it. They’ve been busy this window also, will they have anything to show for it?
Liverpool have completed the signing of Southampton left back, Nathaniel Clyne for a fee of €17.5 million. The defender was set to join United, but it seems the Reds won this one.
Clyne completed a medical on Monday before officially rubber-stamping his move to Liverpool, with the initial figure standing at €14.7m, and becomes Brendan Rodgers’s sixth signing of a busy summer window so far.
The England international, who will replace soon-to-be-free-agent Glen Johnson, follows Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan and youngster Joe Gomez in moving to Anfield.
