Papa Knowles is making it very clear that he is not selling Beyoncé's Memorabilia for money.
Mathew Knowles, the father of the songstress, got a lot of buzz – maybe not so positive -, for his decision to hold a garage sale outside his Music World Entertainment Complex in Houston, Texas.
He sold boxes of Beyoncé, her sister Solange Knowles, as well as Destiny's Child's memorabilia. He explained to a reporter at KPRC that his decision to sell isn't to make money.
"If I needed money, I wouldn't sell $5 T-shirts. I'd sell a Grammy or an MTV award. So that is insulting to think we need to sell $5 T-shirts. No, I don't think so," he said.
