Former World’s Heaviest Man Dies After Years Of Being Confined To a Bed

Former World's heaviest man died at the age of 48 after being confined to his bed for years and unable to walk on his own.

Manuel Uribe who had a record peak weight of 1,230 pounds, certified in 2006 as a Guinness World Record only left his home once for his wedding ceremony in 2008.

An official said Uribe had been taken to the hospital with a crane by emergency and civil defense workers,because of an abnormal heartbeat.

One of the only times he went out was for his wedding in October 2008…
