Jason Porshe’s Capsule Resort ’16 Lookbook

Nigerian fashion label, Jason Porshe has released the lookbook to its Capsule Resort ’16 collection titled,‘Kairos’ & ‘Chronos’, gotten from an Ancient Greek mythology, .

The brand, popular for its bespoke suits, didn’t disappoint with this collection. The cut and tailoring in the pieces modeled by Praiz and Chinko are topnotch. The coloured suits will definitely appeal to the fashion-forward men.

We are also in love with the blazer dresses modeled by Makida Moka and Jennifer Ose. They speak loudly to our androgynous side.

Kairos (the menswear), according to Creative Director, Jason Samuel, tells a story of a time in his life when all a man desires is to be a able to build his life & career, a time when all that matters to him is to be something he created with his own mind.

Ambitious is the new sexy, I feel that a man should dress to match his dreams there’s a boost of confidence that comes with seeing a gentle man in a suit’.

Kairos is created for the men with goals, aspirations & dreams.

With Chronos -the womenswear collection- the designer tells a story of his emotions & how uneasy it has been for him to control them.

He says the two colours, red and black that the womenswear collection comes in, connect with his mood in a way; most of the time it’s love (red),it’s always rosey at first till you meet the pain(black) that comes with being in love.

“I used to be an Emotionally Tormented Artist but then I turned my nemesis into wearable art & it felt good.”

‘Chronos is much more emotional for me,” he says. “It’s deeper & much more expressive of how unstable my mind could be sometimes.”
