Drake’s “IYRTITL’ Debuts at No. 1 with 535,000 Copies Sold!

Drake's mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late has debuted at No. 1 the Billboard 200 after only three days of sales. If You're Reading This It's Too Late, hit digital retailers on Thursday night and sold 535,000 units by the end of the sales week, according to Billboard.

In addition to conquering the charts and going Gold in a few days, it also broke two Spotify records. The streaming site has announced that the project has set a new achievement for most streams from an album in its debut week in the U.S. All songs from the album were streamed more than 17.3 million times altogether in just three days, breaking Drake's own record as Nothing Was the Same previously held it with 15.8 million. 6.8 million of the streams were requested on Saturday, setting a second record for most streams in a single day for an album in the U.S.

Spot #2 got claimed by the soundtrack of Fifty Shades of Grey, which features tracks by The Weeknd (Earned It), Beyonce (Haunted Remix), Sia and Skylar Grey among others. It sold "only" 204,925 units. Sam Smith takes the third place, while Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran complete the top 5.
