FRSC: No More Deadlines For Vehicle Number Plates, Driver's License

frsc boss

The Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Boboye Oyeyemi earlier today, had in a statement to newsmen in Abuja, said that the body will no more fix a deadline for the nationwide enforcement of the new vehicle plate numbers and drivers license.

Boboye Oyeyemi urged motorist to renew their particulars when due to avoid unnecessary embarrassment.

"On the uniform licensing scheme, the Court of Appeal judgement, the scheme is on course but we are not setting any deadline date, its going to be a circle period, so once your drivers licence expires, you go back and renew your licence and also when your vehicle licence expires you go in the process you cut over to the new plate number, and it is joint task force that is empowered to do this."
"You are aware of the Court of Appeal judgment, but now if your license must expire before you renew, if you don't renew we will arrest you," he said.

You have been warned o! Ehnehn
