Nollywood actress, Liz Da-Silva has absolutely no qualms with wearing knock-offs and she’s quick to let you know that.

The actress had shared a photo of a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes and Chanel bag that she had just bought on her Instagram when some fans came for her, asking her to take down the post as the items she was displaying were fakes.

Liz was however unbothered by the comments as she continued to show off her new shoes in subsequent posts.

She later took the time to address her “haters”, stating categorically that she would never buy “real original shoes” as she doesn’t see the point of spending all that money on something she would walk with.

Pastor E.A Adeboye Is A Murderer – Kemi Olunloyo

Controversial daughter of the Former Governor of Oyo State, Kemi Olunloyo is back in the news yet again with more controversy.

This time around the Journalist has taken her controversy to the clerics as she comes forPastor E.A. Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel.

“PASTOR ADEBOYE KILLED A COP IN 1971; I AM SAYING IT ON CAMERA.

Olunloyo added that Pastor Adeboye criticizes single mothers’ and that is why she keeps going after him on social media.

“ADEBOYE SAID IF YOU ARE A SINGLE MOTHER YOU HAVE NO WORTH; I AM A SINGLE MOTHER, WE HAVE WORTH, WE DON’T HAVE TO BE MARRIED,” OLUNLOYO SAID.

“YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE MARRIED TO HAVE CHILDREN,” SHE ADDED.

She further lamented on how he criticizes women who bleach or whiten their skins and how a woman can be fulfilled without being married.

“I DROVE A $55,000 TOYOTA LAND CRUSIER IN AMERICA, I MADE A $150,000 ANNUALLY AS A PHARMACIST, NOT ADDING WHAT I MADE AS A JOURNALIST.

Kanye West and wife, Kim Kardashian were one of the hottest and trending topics at the 2015 Grammy awards last year, after the two were pictured getting steamy on the red carpet. The couple were photographed sharing a very hot kiss with Kanye cupping a feel of his wife’s famous booty.

The photo quickly went viral with couples re-enacting the kiss and people creating hilarious memes from it. However, an Australian artist thought it will be more fun to reproduce the photo as a wall painting of Kanye kissing himself instead.

The artist named Scott Marsh painted a 20-foot mural of Kanye kissing himself on the side of a building in Sydney, Australia and Kanye isn’t too pleased with the artwork. According to reports, the rapper has contacted the artist to remove the painting from the building and even offered him a decent amount of money to paint over the artwork.

Mr. Marsh has reportedly agreed to remove the painting but on one condition: he gets a lifetime supply of #Yeezy Boost sneakers and $100,000 as payment. According to him, he created a one-off oversized print of the mural, which has been painted over, and that if Kanye buys it for $100,000, he’ll paint over the original. “It’s an open invitation to Kanye. If he buys that print then I’ll paint over the mural,” Marsh said.

He has reportedly given Kanye two weeks to purchase the print to which Kanye is yet to respond to.

Mr Abuja PRINCE EHIRIM Wins Mr Ideal 2016

The 2016 edition of Mr Ideal Nigeria pageant held on Sunday March 27th at Bespoke Center in Lekki.

One of the big three male pageants in West Africa had over a 1000 people in attendance. This years edition was won by Prince Ehirim who represented Abuja has joined the league of Mr Ideal Nigerians.

Also some other awards were given at the event which includes: Best Body which was awarded to Mr Ideal Taraba, Next rated went to Mr Ideal Kebbi, Mr Ideal Continental (people's choice) to Mr Ideal Benue, Mr Beach Body to Mr Ideal Nasarawa, Top Model awarded to Mr Ideal Plateau, Mr Ideal Ambassador 2016 awarded to Mr Ideal Ogun, Mr Ideal Southern State awarded to Mr Ideal Abia, and some others.

Among the finalist were Mr Ideal Bayelsa, Mr Ideal Ekiti, Mr Ideal Anambra, Mr Ideal Lagos, Mr Ideal Abuja and Mr Ideal Taraba who will all represent Nigeria at various international pageants 

Mr Ideal Lagos walked away as 6th place, followed by Mr Ideal Taraba who walked away with Mr Ideal Globe, and 4th was Mr Ideal Ekiti who is now the Mr Ideal Tourism, and 3rd went to Mr Ideal Anambra (which got people sighing because everyone thought he’d either get the 2nd position or 1st). First runner up went to Mr Ideal Bayelsa who would represent at Mr Earth, while the winner much to the excitement of guest went to Mr Ideal Abuja, Prince Ehirim.

It was a fun-filled night which saw the contestant perform some dance moves, musicians perform and thrill the grown with their songs, and lots more, and even had the presence of Nollywood actor and one-time Mr Nigeria, Byran Okwara at the event.

Puff Daddy announces Bad Boy Family Reunion show for Notorious BIG’s birthday

Oscar Pistorius’ Court Sentencing set for June

South African Supreme Court said the Olympic and Paralympic gold medallist,Oscar Pistorius, would face sentencing in June following his conviction for murdering his girlfriend.

A report on Thursday from Johannesburg said Pistorius would be sentenced between June 13 and June 17.

Pistorius, known as “Blade Runner” for the carbon fibre prosthetic blades he used to race, faces a minimum 15-year jail sentence.

The Supreme Court in December upgraded the 29-year-old Paralympian’s sentence on appeal to murder from “culpable homicide”, South Africa’s equivalent of manslaughter, for which he had received a five-year sentence.

Buhari Will Visit China Soon- Chinese Ambassador To Nigeria Says

Yesterday, when the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Gu Xiaojie visited the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, in Abuja, he disclosed that arrangements have already been concluded for President Muhammadu Buhari’s official visit to the Peoples’ Republic of China in April.

He emphasized that the visit was significant because it would strengthen diplomatic relations between China and Nigeria.

“The relationship right now is a strategic partnership that will definitely help to expand mutual benefits between the two countries to look at widening areas and scope of cooperation.


“We are also set to look for new areas of cooperation between China and Nigeria against the background that this year, China and Nigeria are celebrating 45 years anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries,” the Ambassador said.

He also disclosed the volume of trade between Nigeria and China in 2015 at $14.9bn, saying Nigeria is China’s biggest trading partner in Africa.

Nigerians Beginning To Doubt Our Change Agenda, Admits Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed says the government is aware that Nigerians are now doubting its change agenda, but he wants to assured them that the Buhari administration is “working around the clock to provide  relief for the citizenry.”

“As a government that was propelled into office by the power of the people, we cannot but feel the pains of our compatriots, and we deeply empathise with them,” he said in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by Segun Adeyemi, his special adviser.

“Our message to our compatriots is that this administration under the able leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari is working round the clock to ease the pains of Nigerians, and that very soon, the efforts of the government will begin to yield fruits for the benefit of Nigerians.


“We understand the skepticism of Nigerians in questioning whether this indeed is the change they voted for. I can tell Nigerians that our change agenda is real, and that indeed Nigerians will get the change they voted for.”

On the scarcity of petrol in the country, the minister said that immediate measures were being taken to end the situation just as medium and long-term solutions
were being worked out to prevent a recurrence.

“Petroleum supply and distribution have been ramped up across the country by the NNPC to ensure product availability in the country, but repeated trips to filling stations and the backlog are making it impossible to immediately feel the impact,” he said.

“Monitoring has also been intensified to ensure full compliance with approved prices. Violations of
approved prices and hoarding of petroleum products attract severe penalties, including giving out of
petroleum products free to the public, sealing off of fuel stations found to be hoarding petroleum products, payment of fine as well as withdrawal of marketer’s license.”

Mohammed said that in the medium term, the supply constraints owing to foreign exchange challenges were being resolved through collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria on innovative ways of closing the gaps in accessing foreign exchange.

He also announced the willingness of the international upstream oil companies to support major oil marketing companies with some of the required foreign exchange, thus complementing the efforts of the NNPC, which has been solely importing the refined products, in addition to the fact that the corporation is pursuing an improved model for crude-oil-for-refined-product exchange to eliminate inefficiencies.

“The ultimate is to ensure self-sufficiency in refined products supply by ramping up our local Refining capacity. All local refineries will be made to run at a minimum 70 percent capacity utilisation in the weeks ahead. This is in addition to the initiative of increasing the combined capacity of the domestic refineries through co-locating smaller but cost efficient modular refineries within the existing refineries premises,” the minister said.

Regarding unstable power supply in the country, Mohammed blamed the lack of gas supply to the power generating stations for it. He said the NNPC was seeking alternative sources of gas supply after the attack on the Forcados export pipeline forced the cut off of gas supplies to the stations.

The minister said even the gas supply that was cut off following the attacks on the Forcados pipeline would soon be restored as Shell, the operators of the pipeline, has awarded the contract to repair it.

In addition, he said, work was nearing completion on the transmission projects in five states in the southeast and south-south that would ensure that the power stations in those regionswere able to work at full capacity, thus adding another 800MW to the national grid.

“While we give no excuses for the challenges currently being faced by Nigerians, because they voted for us specifically to address those challenges, we appeal to them to bear with us as we strive to provide the much-needed relief in the days ahead,” he added.

Chibok Girls Are Not Missing, It's Only A Political Strategy - Governor Fayose

Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, says the abduction of over 200 girls from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, is a ruse, which is at best, a political strategy.

Fayose, while speaking on Wednesday, said he doesn’t believe that the girls were abducted in 2014 while stressing that there’s been no indication to back up the abduction reports.

While declaring open a two-day workshop on “Political Aspirants Capacity Enhancement” organised by Women Arise for Change Initiative, Fayose said: “Today, many opposition leaders are underground.”

“I don’t think any of these girls is missing; it is a political strategy. Who is fooling who? If you wanted to use it to remove some people, you have succeeded already.”

“I don’t know if there are missing girls but no indication has shown that. It is a political strategy, because I don’t think any girl is missing. If they are missing, let them find them.”

The governor also said some of the #BringBackOurGirls campaigners are using the platform to seek political appointments while noting that human rights groups have been relatively quiet since Muhammadu Buhari became President.

“I’m concerned about the activities of human rights groups. Today the government of the day is obeying court order of their choice, while human rights are not respected.”

“We must talk about government providing cover for criminals. You are now using that person to harass innocent person. You will never have peace when you hide justice.”

“Police came into town yesterday (Tuesday) to arrest political opponents. If you like, demonise me, I will demonise you. I don’t need the police and the SSS (Department of State Services) to walk in my state. It is when you are not popular that you walk with police.”
